
From Scratch Gingerbread

Method
- Heat oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease and flour square pan, 9x9x2 inches.
- Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly.
- Beat 3 minutes on medium speed, scraping , bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
- Bake 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Serve warm, and if desired, with whipped cream, applesauce, or lemon sauce.
- Makes 9 servings. Note: Do not use self-rising flour in this recipe.
