Peanut Butter Fudge

Here is a hand-written fudge recipe I found in my mother's recipe files from many years ago. I remember how Smooth and Creamy it always turned out. I would give anything to see my Mama cooking in the kitchen like she did years ago.

Ingredients Method Notes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Marshmallows
  • 3/4 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Method
 

  1. Cook to Soft ball stage, the Sugars, milk and butter.
  2. Then add remaining ingredients, stir in marshmallows until they melt.
  3. Remove from Heat, beat until mixture begins to thicken. (About 1 minute).
  4. Pour into buttered pan.
